I am an expert at working with food restrictions to develop meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists so that you can enjoy food and have amazing meal experiences.  Receiving a new diagnosis, or recommendation to eliminate (or include) certain nutrients can be daunting and feel overwhelming.  Whether you're new to cooking, or seasoned in the kitchen, I can help you navigate this new world.  It can take hours of online research, searching for recipes and ingredient swaps, trying to figure out what to buy, make, and eat.  Let me take the burden off your shoulders.  I've already done most of the work!  You don't have to be plant-based to work with me.  I can work with any dietary preferences and any restrictions.

 

Learning to be a great cook doesn't happen overnight.  I've been cooking since I was in childhood (OK, that's decades, without getting too specific ;-))  I've always loved to bake and make goodies.  I began eliminating dairy in my cooking over 15 years ago, and I incorporated the low-FODMAP protocol over 10 years ago, which is a number of carbohydrates to monitor and/or eliminate, including wheat.  I've eliminated soy, corn, shellfish for myself and clients over the years.  I've had friends who are sensitive to onions and garlic specifically, many friends who are gluten-intolerant, and some who can't eat nuts or seeds.  I've created lactation cookies and other postpartum recipes in collaboration with Naturopath and Lactation Consultant, Dr. Juliana Marie.

 

I love the challenge of creating meals, and recreating recipes that challenge the SAD (standard American diet), and bringing people healthful foods they can still enjoy!
